Trail riding throughout southern California has become a passion of ours. Join us on the many trail rides as we review the trail, the ride level, the ammenities, and any other points of interest. Come along for a ride...
The Santa Rosa Trails Santa Rosa Plateau Link This is an outstanding ride for all levels of riders and horses. The trails are very well cared for, with wide open paths and several bridges to cross. This is a do not miss ride for the springtime flowers!

The Santa Margarita Trails Santa Margarita Link This trail is only for the more advanced rider and or advanced trail horse. The trail has many river crossings, some as deep as your horse's belly. It has steep winding hill trails, where your horse needs to be fairly fit. The beauty and the views are amazing. Be prepared for many types of surfaces, dirt, rocks, sand, and plenty of downed trees to step over!

The Pioneer Town Trails Pioneer Town Link This ride is best for early spring when it is still cool enough to enjoy the desert beauty. The trails are for all levels of riders and horses. If you want a more difficult ride head toward the hills and climb over the rocky areas. For an easy level ride stay to the dry riverbed areas. It is a fun ride and a wonderful little town to visit. It is the old west come to life! There is a shoot-out on mane street at noon on the weekends. If you go ~ plan to stay overnight. There is a motel with horse corrals.

A Morning on the Backside:
The mornings start very early... by 5:30 the horses are up & ready for the day.
The Horses are groomed and saddled for their morning workout. Sometimes it's a gallop and other times it's a timed work. Here "Billy's Echo" is ready for a gallop with his trainer Summer Mayberry.
Here Billy gallops around the track in the early morning.
After the morning exercise, there is hand walking until cool, a nice bath, hand walking until dry, and then full grooming and leg care.
Ahhhh..... the life of a Race Horse!
