Rancho Rosenhill started with a foundation mare named "Island of Eden" 1991. We brought this mare to California in 2001. She is a Washington bred mare and was raced throughout Washington & Northern California. She had true speed and several times won by over 10 lengths! She came from a very strong female line, her dam & granddam won stakes races and produced stakes horses. Island of Eden developed into a stakes producing broodmare. Her life was cut short when contracted acute laminitis at age 13. We had her put to sleep in the fall of 2006 at age 15. All the horses on this site are her offspring or produced by her offspring. She has created a wonderful legacy.

Billy won two races in 2006 boosting his earning to over $340,000!
Billy WON the "Flame Thrower Stakes" at Hollywood Park on June 17th 2005. This was a 5 1/2 Furlong turf race. He won by 1 1/2 lengths!
Billy placed Third in the "Bullet Stakes" at Hollywood Park on May 27th 2005! He lost by only 1/2 length and it was a NEW track record setting time! The 5 furlong race was run in 55.3 seconds!

Billy's Echo is the first foal out of Island of Eden. He was born in 1998 and is a Washington-Bred Bay Gelding. He has been racing throughout the Southern California tracks since 2001. He has earned over $340,000. He is a very sweet, beautiful, and well behaved horse. His race record is outstanding ~ he has raced 40 times and has recorded 8 wins, 7 seconds, and 4 thirds. This horse has true speed, running 95+ Beyers consistently. This horse will never be sold ~ he has now retired to a life of pleasure rides and pamering. "Dafne's Echo" 2001 Bay Filly

Dafne is a 2001, Washington-Bred Bay Filly. She is a full sister to Billy's Echo. She is a daughter of Island of Eden. She won at Hollywood Park in her second race of her lifetime. She won a Maiden Special Weights race going 5 1/2 furlongs. Dafne's Echo has now been retired to broodmare status due to a medical issue. She has foaled an outstanding colt named "Otto's Echo". Watch for him at the races soon! She is in foal to the "Kitalpha" for a 2012 foal. We look forward to great things here. You can watch the webcam of her foaling stall to see all the excitment! "Hollywood Debut" 2003 Bay Filly

Holly is a 2003, Cal-Bred, Bay Broodmare. She is a very large well built mare. She is a half sister to the two winners listed above. Her sire is Kleven, the sire of stakes winners "Uncaged Fury" & "Big Jag". She is starting her broodmare duties with a beautiful 2008 "Momentum" filly named "Cinevegas". She has an outstanding 2009 "Kitalpha" colt named "Zan Boko Star", that is in training at Santa Anita.
